Malbork Castle
Malbork - monastic ascetism and courtly splendour. Light-filled, stunningly beautiful halls and damp and gloomy cellars. The tremendous castle of the Teutonic Knights - with the whispers of its chapels and the silence of its towers and massive walls.
The Teutonic Order - a community of power-hungry monk-knights, who, in the name of God, waged deadly wars against the both Pagan and Christian states. The heart of this peculiar state became Malbork, the greatest castle in the world at that time.
